Alfred Jackson, born and raised in South Central L.A, began his journey at the Marla Gibbs performing Arts School. There he met the late Tracy L. Coley who became his vocal coach and mentor. Soon after, he joined Amazing Grace Conservatory under the direction of both Wendy Raquel Robinson and Tracy L. Coley, there is where Alfred’s passion for the stage continued to grow. Alfred is a recipient of the NAACP Award- for best choreographer in a stage play (Sarafina). Also known for his amazing vocal arrangements and writing skills, he's had the privilege to use these gifts on Issa Rae's Web series The Chior, E! Entertainment, In the Mix and David E. Kelly‘s “Ally McBeal”. Alfred wrote and co-produced the number one hit signal for South African solo artist Loyiso. He has worked with industry titans such as: Diane Warren, Rodney Jerkins, Brian Michael Cox, Jason Derulo, Aaron Carter, 3LW, and Stevie Jay, just to name a few. Alfred’s mesmerizing performances leaves you wanting more. He has performed at landmark venues such as The House of Blues, The Roxy, Ivar and the Key Club. He has also hit the stage internationally in Japan, Europe, Germany, Jamaica and several school tours in California, Miami and New York. In addition to Alfred’s outstanding vocal abilities, his Theatre credits include National Tours – Solid Gold Motown (Niagara Falls Canada), Michael Jackson’s Man in the Mirror Lead Vocalist (Reno Nevada), Glee - Lead Vocalist (Universal Studios Japan), and Jason, Derulo-(Background Vocalist). His most recent credits to Television and Film include - The Choir (Issa Rae's Web Series), General Hospital, Ant Bully, “In the Mix, The Wood” & Time Changer”.
